This last weekend, Stampin’ Up! held their OnStage. Usually this is an in person event but this is 2020 and the rules have changed. This year, our OnStage convention was virtual! Us demos got training, fun games, and stamping in the comfort of our own homes.
While I missed sitting at a table with demos from my area, going to eat at a local restaurant with other demos and sharing a hotel room with other crafty people I still had a great time.
Pros of #onstage@home include:
Being close to beverages, snacks and the restroom.
Being able to hear the presenter. Us stampers are a chatty bunch
Having a clear, close up view of the presentations
Saved money by not having to get a hotel room or drive/fly to the location
No crazy long walk from hotel room to the furthest room at the convention center
Online chat feature allowed us to Congratulate fellow demos on their achievements
Having my own stamping tools nearby plus all the extras that I always wish that I thought to bring.
Next year, we’ll see what life brings us. Hopefully we’ll be able to combine virtual and in person events to include many more demonstrators than ever before.
Thank You, Stampin’ Up! for going the distance to allow us to get tips, tools and fun to help us all during this next stampin’ year.
Been so busy that I forgot to post this month’s host code.
Use it when you place your orders through my website: https://junereister.stampinup.net If your order total is $150 or more, don’t use the code. You will qualify for host rewards all on your own. As always, look for snail mail from me. Snail mail makes people happy!
How to use the host code: When you place your order through my Stampin” Up! website, (link- above under about-Stampin Up) there is a place to enter the host code. Orders of $35+ will be placed in the drawing for Free stamps and products
However, STOP!! Do not use the host code if your order is $150+. When you purchase $150+ you qualify for your own workshop and get all of the benefits without entering a drawing. Any questions? Drop me a line and I will answer them for you.
This is a sneak peek of the upcoming Paper Pumpkin kit. The box is yellow and looking all summery. Stampin’ Up! s CEO Sara (the pretty lady in the picture)is the inspiration for the #sharesunshine kit. Be sure to subscribe by June 10th (I would do it much sooner as the kit for May sold out in April). You’ll find the sign up link under the About tab at the top of the page. Just follow the instructions and your kit will start coming.
Each kit is $22.00 plus tax. That includes shipping. Each kit contains all the pieces to make several cards/projects plus extras to play with. Also included is a stamp set that you can’t get anywhere else and an ink spot. Your first kit will have a stampin block to use with that and all future kits.
Need a break? Skip a month or two anytime. Just go to the page and select skip this month.
I love when the things that I do, say, create, give make people smile. During the Covid crisis, I have learned more about who I am as a person. I have been reading books on my Facebook page. It started as a way to connect with the kids in my life. I missed them.
Here’s a link to the first book that I read, “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus”. It’s one of my favorites that I read to my daughter when she was little. I just looooved saying, I bet your Mom would let me.
All of the videos are on my main wall but they’re publicly shared so you can just look up my videos. Enjoy them for yourself or share them with a kid in your own family. If you have the book, open it and read along
My name is June Reister and I’m a paper artist. I love to make things out of paper. Then everyone can enjoy them. They make other people smile, which makes me smile. We need more smiling in this world.
I always say that there are 3 types of crafters.
Those that love crafting and make lots of things
Those that want to learn how to make things but are beginners or are scared.
Those that don’t make anything and don’t want to learn how but still want to have the results.
I’m a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator which means that you can purchase products from me to make things. Whether you already know how or want to know how, I’m here to help. You can also purchase things that I have already made.
I’m so excited to start a website with ALL of my info in one place. Here, you can look at what I’ve been making, buy what I’ve made (cards, gifts, etc), shop through me at my Stampin’ Up! store, read what I’m up to, ask questions, get on my mailing list, buy the retired items I’m selling and so much more.
I will be adding to my links and more photos and such over the next couple of months. So be sure to check back in every week to see what’s new.
